Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Farmer’s Storehouse Pie & Pastry Mix

  • ½ cup cold grass-fed butter (cut into small cubes)

  • ½–⅔ cup cold milk (whole milk or buttermilk preferred)

  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional, for subtle sweetness)

  • ¼ tsp sea salt (optional, if you like a more savory roll)

For brushing

  • 2 Tbsp melted butter

  • Optional sprinkle: flaky sea salt or garlic powder

Preparation

Instructions

1. Make the dough

  • In a mixing bowl, add the pie & pastry mix.

  • Cut in the cold butter using a fork or pastry cutter until pea-sized crumbs form.

  • Stir in milk a little at a time until a soft dough forms (do not overmix).

2. Roll & shape

  • Lightly flour a surface.

  • Roll dough into a 10–12 inch circle, about ¼-inch thick.

  • Cut into 8–12 wedges like a pizza.

  • Roll each wedge from the wide end toward the point to form a crescent.

3. Bake

  • Place crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Brush lightly with melted butter.

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden.

4. Finish

  • Brush again with butter while warm.

  • Add a pinch of flaky salt if desired.
